![]() I hoped that if I install this extensions I will be seamelessly able to to use all my autotypes via the browser plugin. I just want to switch to Wayland on Linux. ![]() () Georgijs Samoilenko: Well I have a big database with all my credentials with a lot of autotype rules.() Alexander S: Works pretty poorly: connection to database often lost or entries not found.() Robert Gross: Impossible to connect to DB "Key exchange failed".() Henry: using it since years and dont have any problemes (linux with brave & firefox as well as windows with firefox).() Ashus CZ: Works great, but could be improved.I still don't understand why it doesn't work for certain pages, like Cockpit Linux Web Interface Login pages or Portainer. () Stefan Pirker: Hi! This extension works flawlessly most of the time.() Pikachu: I liked the browser extension but its browser inetgration does not work for icloud and some sites.I use a second password manager for my private credentials and this extension disturb the autofill function. I'm under Linux and use the KeepassXC version from the repository.Īnother drawback is the input field handling. () Thomas Chojecki: Plugin is good, but the current version drops support for older KeepassXC versions and don't work at all.It also refuses to work if you don't have the latest version of KeepassXC installed - this, plus with KeepassXC's frequent updates and clunky update method (go to website, download new version, try installing, get error message, forcefully close keepassxc-proxy, complete installing, open and authenticate, then refresh page on Chrome) makes for a frustrating experience. It occasionally fails to detect the login fields on some pages, and bugs you to create "new" password entries to fix the issue. For instance, it keeps asking for permission to use passwords for each and every website as the default option. () Ricardo Almeida: Generally useful but it has a multitude of small issues that make the experience less than enjoyable.Just keep getting "Error! Not connected to Keypass." () Qwert Y: Doesn't matter what I try.I mean it's obviously more modern than the original KeePass but not modern enough for me Now I only want the interface to be more modern. It does what it's supposed to do and have greatly improved with time. The button that attaches to login boxes, by the way, seems to do nothing. I have to go back and forth between tabs and refreshing hoping that eventually the login request box will appear. () Brett Rodgers: Wildly troublesome to use.I highly recommend this for people running KPXC on chrome or chromium-based browsers. All my browser settings carry over to whatever device I store my database on, with the exception of devices not running KeePassXC. Just log in to my database, refresh the page (or extension) and viola, passwords filled on login. its working excellently once all my URLs have been defined and set to "remember" my passwords. You have to define each browser that has access in the database, for security. Sometimes when first setting up the database doesn't want to connect to the extension, and this can be frustrating. Its a bit of a pain using at first, as each website needs to request access to password credentials, and you can (as far as I know) only use 1 url for each password. () Blake: A mostly functional browser extension for an excellent Keepass program.() Vasileios Kostopoulos: Unter "Verbunden Datenbanken" ist keine Datenbank verbunden.Only workaround I have found is to disable and then re-enable extensionĮDIT: Did a complete uninstall of the keepassxc application and addon and then reinstalled. () A70sDinosaur Mac: It refuses to connect to database (with Firefox and Brave).
